Camp John Hay, Baguio – Heartwarming carols filled the cool Baguio air as seven choirs in this mountain city celebrated with hundreds of guests the 20th anniversary of The Manor hotel here in Camp John Hay.
The event, held Nov. 5, coincided with The Manor’s ushering in the Christmas season with a tree-lighting ceremony.
Taking turns serenading the guests were the University of Baguio Laboratory Elementary School Small Voices, St. Louis School Center Choir, Baguio City High School Young Minstrels, Jesus Miracle Crusade Choir, North Sound Ensemble, University of Baguio High School Glee Club, and Coro D’llera Music Ministry.
John Glenn Gaerlan and Kay Balajadia-Liggayu performed a duet of “The Prayer.”
The Manor’s resident rock star chef Billy King and his kitchen crew served al fresco a sumptuous feast including Filipino and international dishes while wine and other drinks flowed from sunset till the evening hours.
