OVERVIEW

Metro Global Holdings Corporation (MGHC) is a holding company formerly listed in the Philippine Stock Exchange as Fil-Estate Corporation. The amendment was passed in order to align the companies Metro Countrywide Corporation and Metro Countrywide Holdings Inc. under the umbrella of MGHC. It was approved by the Board of Directors on March 18, 2014.

The company’s key investment is in the form of equity interest in Metro Rail Transit Holdings I and Metro Rail Transit Holdings II. The combined investment in these holding companies represents approximately twenty-nine percent (29%) interest in the EDSA Metro Rail Transit Systems (MRT).
